We are happy to announce that Stanimir Lambov will do a special performance at The Space, following the release of his first single, ‘Mедитация’ (‘Meditation’), from his upcoming EP of his solo venture, Lambov’s Ensemble de Solitude!

Lambov’s Ensemble de Solitude functions as an exploration of his relationship with the guitar in various contexts. His artistic range expands from composing acoustic chamber music to crafting solo jazz arrangements to improvising ambient pieces with prepared guitar and electronics.

In his upcoming EP, “Solo Works: Vol.1, the guitarist revisits the roots of his musical journey, by focusing solely on the delicate world of his first love – the nylon-string acoustic guitar.

The EP‘s first single, ‘Mедитация’ (‘Meditation’), reflects on the process of meditation in its numerous forms. For Stanimir, this activity often involves the presence of a guitar in his hands, so he naturally translates this introspective experience into sound. The composition reflects on different phases a meditation might go through intention, judgement, moments of no thoughts, vibrations, or light.
